Netscape v6 email setup for Cheetah
1. Select Mail from the Netscape 6 folder in your Start menu.
Click on "Create New Account".
2. The "Account Wizard" will appear.
Select "ISP or email provider" and click on Next...
3. Type in your name and Cheetah email address, using your own
username
in place of "username" in the address...
(Thinline customers may substitute thinline.com for cheetah.net)
4. For "type of incoming server", make sure that POP
and not IMAP is selected.
* The incoming server is mail.cheetah.net and the outgoing (SMTP) server is
mail2.cheetah.net
* (Thinline customers may substitute thinline.com for cheetah.net)
* Click Next...
5. Your Cheetah username (that portion of your email address
that's to the
left of the @ symbol) goes here. Then, click Next...
6. You can leave the Account Name alone, or type in anything
you like.
Then click Next...
7. Verify that everything's correct. Click on
Finish if everything's OK,
or click on Back if you need to make any changes.
