Configuring Windows 2000 Dialup Networking for Cheetah
1. Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, then open the
"Network and
Dialup Connections folder...
2. Double-click on Make New Connection...
3. The next screen is a "Welcome to the Connection
Wizard". Click
Next to get to the following screen. Here, you will select "Dialup to
the Internet", then click Next...
4. Choose "I want to set up my Internet connection
manually",
then click Next...
5. Select "I connect through a phone line and modem", then click Next...
6. Insert the local dial-up phone number that you've
been given,
then click Next...
7. Type in your Cheetah username and password, then click Next...
8. Type "Cheetah" and click Next...
9. At this point you will be asked if you want to set up
"Internet Mail".
You can click No and complete your dialer, or you can click Yes and
go on to configure Outlook Express as an email program for
Cheetah.
